**Excerpt**
“What
happened on the track today? Are you okay?” He asked, as he walked over to her
and took the towel from around her head. He tilted her jaw first to one side,
then the other, looking into her eyes as if he were a doctor or something. “Why
aren’t you answering me?”
“Probably,
because you haven’t given me a chance to answer yet,” she said, finding her
voice at last. “What are you doing here? And why are you angry with me?”
“Never
mind that. Are you hurt?”
“No.”
She wouldn’t tell him that she’d been scared out of her mind. She’d keep that
bit of information to herself.
“Good.
Come here.” Her supposed rival, Shane Westbrook, pulled her into the circle of
his arms and brought his mouth down to hers. Her lips parted voluntarily,
allowing his tongue access.
Tracey’s
arms instantly encircled his neck, causing her towel to drop to the floor. She
felt his groan of appreciation as he deepened the kiss, grasping her hips,
lifting her up off the floor and more intimately into him. Without missing a
beat, he walked with her over to the bed and placed her on it—with him on top
of her—their lips still locked in a passionate kiss. His legs parted her naked
thighs—his cock coming into contact with her center—her juices wetting the
front of his jeans.
Tracey
couldn’t believe this was happening. That it was real. Yet the thickness
between her legs assured her that it was. Her hips gyrated against him. He
growled his satisfaction into her mouth.
“I
am definitely overdressed,” he whispered against her lips, before lifting up
off of her. He removed his clothes swiftly, and joined her back on the bed
before she could voice her objections.
She
looked at him as he undressed, enjoying the view of his toned body,
sun-streaked, short, brownish blond hair, and blue eyes. His long, thick
erection, bobbed up and down amidst a triangle of short curls a shade darker
than his hair. As much as she wanted all of him inside of her, in her heart of
hearts, she knew it would be wrong.
“From
the look in those beautiful dark eyes of yours, I can tell you are having
second thoughts. Don’t,” he ordered. “This is going to happen, Tracey.”
“We
can’t,” she murmured.
“We
can and we will,” he said sternly, before taking her lips again in a
mind-blowing kiss.

Dee Dee M. Scott is on my blog today!!! Welcome!!!
I am very excited to
introduce to you and welcome the lovely Dee Dee M. Scott to the world of
Serenity *grin*. Yay us!!! Ms. Scott does it all. I’ll let her fill you in on
everything in her world.
Dee Dee, why don’t
you tell us a little bit about yourself?
First, I would like to thank you for
having me on your site. My name is Dee Dee M. Scott. I wear many hats. I am a
playwright, film Producer, Publisher, author, entrepreneur, philanthropist and
business woman. I am also a mother, wife of seventeen years and a down to earth
person.
I am a publisher. I published my books through my publishing
company, Ahsyad Publications.
Do you work with a
publisher? Why, or why not? If so, why did you choose that particular
publisher?
I am a
publisher. Due to the out of the box plot of, My Husband’s Woman, I had a hard
time finding a home for my novel. However, people who were reading the story were
telling me that they could not put it down. It was at that time, that I realized that what I had written was different,
relevant and needed to be heard. So, in 2008, I formed my own company,
Ahsyad Publications, and published my book. The book was well received. Now, I have eight gifted authors signed to my
label. Each author has a unique writing style. Their stories are innovative and
fresh. The first author will be released soon. Their books are well-written and
will not disappoint!
Give us some background
on your book
My Husband’s Woman is a story about a young, naïve woman named Meshia.
She becomes involved with Byron, a married attorney eighteen years her senior.
The affair causes his wife Alexandra to slowly break down, and both Meshia and
Byron find themselves in a position that they never saw coming.
How do you balance
life and writing?
I wrote ten of books, year ago, during a dry spell, when it seemed
like I couldn’t get my foot into the door. I could have thrown in the towel,
but I realized that it is during your dry spells that you must continue working
hard, and doing whatever it is that you do, so that when the time does come,
you will be ready. Now, I have time to focus on others things like my
publishing company, stage plays and films. I will release my other books
throughout 2013-15.
Where do your ideas
come from?
Ideas just come to me. I think they come so freely because I
do not put myself in box or allow anyone else to.
Do you have any advice
for writers?
Have
alligator skin and lose the naysayers.
If you have a talent, if you have a dream, surround yourself with like-minded
people who will uplift and support you. Negative people are Cancer. They will
destroy you and steer you away from your dreams, if you let them. Learn
all you can about the business and the industry and never give up.
What writing tips can
you offer to new and/or aspiring writers?
Write from your heart. Find your own unique style, and don’t
be afraid to use it.
How are your characters
created?
I spend a lot of time making sure my characters have flaws
and distinct personalities. I make sure
that the situations, and the things that they feel are realistic and can be
felt when reading my novel.
Do you have any
researching tips?
Yes. The internet is a good place to do research. It has
tons of information you can use, but don’t rely entirely on it for your
information. You can obtain a lot of excellent information from the library,
newspapers and many other places.

A good story.

I am a very private person. I love being alone or with my close
family.
What do you like to
do in you down time?
Other than spend time with my family, I love yoga and
meditating on the word of Jehovah and my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
