"Using the power of
decision gives you the capacity to get past any excuse to change any and every
part of your life in an instant." ~Tony Robbins
With this in mind, get past the
worries of life by launching out into the deep and casting your net to a better
you.
This is the decision that I have
made. Today my focus is on meditation along with my routinely exercise. I
probably won’t be able to get to the track today. However, I have already
mapped out my first two meals of the day.
Breakfast: A mini wheat bagel
with vegetable cream cheese, a large decaf coffee, and a slice of melon.Lunch: Since I will be out with my dad for his chemo treatment I have decided to bring a bag lunch. I never know what I’m going to be doing when I’m with the parents. So on the menu is a peanut butter and honey sandwich. Try to use honey instead of jelly…less fattening, a banana, apple, Kashi crunch, and bottled water. I will probably put some celery and carrot stick in a small Ziploc bag just in case.
Meditation is good for the soul, so while I
wait on my dad I will meditate on this scripture by reading it throughout the
day. In its simple form meditation is just
the art of focusing one’s mind on a specific thought—reflective thinking.
What’s in your mind has an
impact on how you act and or react throughout the day.
"The glow of one warm
thought is to me worth more than money." ~Thomas Jefferson
Scripture for the day:
Scripture for the day:
"Because you have so little
faith. I tell you the truth, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you
can say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there' and it will move. Nothing
will be impossible for you." Matthew 17:20 (NIV).
Blessings!!!
