Wow! It has been a while since I have posted anything. I returned to this blog to keep myself personally and professionally accountable. I am committed to being a better person and keeping even broken promises. Some I can’t fix, but that’s okay. Moving forward is healthy as well as productive.
For now, I chose to blog
instead of using Instagram or Facebook because I find them very toxic. The
world has been a big toxicity, and I am choosing peace. I cannot say whether
this will be a daily, weekly, or monthly thing...it will be a thing for sure.
I was going to say that I was
starting a bucket list. However, that seems so final to me. I will leave that
as Wendy Williams used to say, “Where? Back there.”
Reclaiming “me.”
Reclaiming my true self is a
start to my journey of self-discovery. I hope you will travel with me. Together,
we can do this.
To reclaim oneself means, in my mind, finding oneself. Love
on you first. Friedrich Nietzche wrote, “Your bad love to yourselves maketh
solitude a prison to you.” Love on you with that “good” love. Make the best of your
solitude. Mark 1:35 (New International Version), “Very early in the
morning, while it was still dark, Jesus got up, left the house and went off to
a solitary place, where he prayed.” Solitude can be good. Use it wisely.
That’s all for today. Nevertheless, the journey continues…
See you soon!
Best,
~Serenity
