A little bit...

Hello!

Whoa! I haven’t blogged in a while. Now is as good a time as any to get back to it J.

Here’s a little bit of what I will tell you about my latest releases and me:

I write a broad spectrum of romance, including but not limited to suspense, thriller, and mystery. This is all added onto the erotic, contemporary, and sensual romance. Most of my works are interracial and multicultural. However, I do not limit myself to those two genres. I write the story I feel needs to be told at the time. If you’ve read my books, you know that the majority of my stories will almost always have a message as well as a storyline in them. I love to create worlds, which is why many of my stories are series.

Why do I write across the board? I don’t want to be boxed into being a one-dimensional author. I try to keep the stories fresh so that they won’t appear to be recycled. It was recently brought to my attention that I use a word often in my stories. I’m not telling what the word is. Ha! Almost every writer has a word that is used in virtually every story he or she writes. It may be a word that is used to describe a sex scene in the story or just a word that is regularly utilized by the author. It is sort of like a signature that the author/creator of the works has put in the writing that identifies that author to a reader.

I love receiving emails from readers, and I try my very best to respond to each email regardless of content (e.g., questions about a release or even a negative review). If you no longer wish to follow me or invest in my works, that's okay—to each his or her own. However, I will not be moved J. I will continue to do what I love to do: write. There is someone out there who hasn’t read Serenity King, will pick up one of my works, and will either love my Novels and Novellas, hate them, or both. Unfortunately, it’s the nature of the business.

My latest release, Solomon’s Quest, is a part of a box set: 12 Alphas 12 Months. Solomon’s Quest is an extension of the Cameron Trilogy, which features Tabitha James. Tabitha is a fellow model and good friend of, Diamond Shaw-Carmichael, and Asia Carrington-Cameron. Tabitha is mentioned in all three books of the Cameron Trilogy: Simply Beautiful and Through the Fire, but more so in the third installment, Sinjin: You Give Me Something. She also appears in A Diamond for Rafe, featuring Diamond Shaw and Rafe Carmichael. Rafe Carmichael, Solomon Longhorn, and Domino Longhorn are brothers.

My other release is Samantha: Never Say Never. This is the second story in my Powell series. The first in the series is A Race for Redemption.

If you are new to my works and have any questions regarding any of my stories, please feel free to drop me a line. My email address is authorserenityking@gmail.com.

Love & Light,
